INTRODUCTION
Conscientization is a popular educational and social concept developed by Brazilian pedagogue Paulo Friere.As a part of B.Ed curriculum, a   conscientiation programme was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School,Nedungolam, Paravur on 16 th January 2020. The topic selected for the programme was “air pollution.

 OBJECTIVES
Ø To develop awareness about air pollution
Ø To foster friendly mentality among students

Ø To gain the knowledge abut the Adverse effects of air pollution 

 REPORT

The session has started with an introduction by pointing the recent Delhi issues with an interesting video.As main point of discussion,I try to list out the  causes and effects of air pollution followed by its solutions  with various slides.I point out the importance  of echo friendly life style as a solution of air pollution.It was a wonderful experience with the pupils. They gave positive feedback regarding the presentation.
